- About your instructor:
- Margie completed a Holistic Health coaching certificate with the Institute for integrative nutrition in 2013. She began working in the drug & alcohol field in 2015, and graduated from Rosemont College in 2020 with an MA in addiction counseling. She earned her Yoga teachers certificate through Open Center Yoga 2023 as a first step towards enmeshing her love of health and wellness and desire to help people in recovery.
- About the class:
- Margie focuses on creating a peaceful calming practice that gives people the space and the time to make connections to their bodies, feelings and thoughts. Leading a slow but intentional practice, she helps guide participants through specific movements and positions – acknowledging where trauma, grief, and tension is typically stored – and providing a safe space (and permission) to release it.
