For the month of September SYNC Recovery is hosting a program which aids in helping the unsheltered population and families in need. The project “Stuff a Backpack- Spread the Love” is one service of many that helps coordinate supplies for the homeless to help them meet some of their basic needs. You can make a difference in the lives of these individuals, many whom suffer from substance use issues. Below is a list of items we are requesting. For your convenience, there are six recovery centers collecting donations for this initiative.
Sync will be there the day the backpacks will be handed out with trained Certified Recovery Specialists to offer a message of hope and resources to those individuals suffering from substance use issues.
