Yin Yoga with Claire

Join Claire as she guides us on self care journey through Yin Yoga at Dragonfly Yoga Studio.

Yin Yoga is a slow, passive style of yoga focusing on deep connective tissues (fascia, ligaments) through long-held poses (3-10 mins), complementing active (yang) yoga by improving flexibility, calming the nervous system, and enhancing mindfulness, making it great for stress relief and joint health for all levels. Key principles involve finding your edge, staying still, and holding poses to target deep tissues, often using props for support, with poses held for minutes rather than breaths. 🧘‍♀️☯🧘‍♂️

No yoga experience necessary! All walks of recovery are welcome. Please wear appropriate attire. Mats will be provided.
