Day of Generosity – Danny’s Ride

Nancy, the founder of Danny’s Ride, does something each November 10th to commemorate the loss of her beloved son, Danny, in 2016. This year Nancy has chosen to honor Danny’s memory by treating people to a lunch, hike & recovery meeting at the Kirkridge Retreat and Study Center.

More about Danny’s Ride: “We established Danny’s Ride to help cope with our loss. We want his legacy of compassion and generosity to continue long after his death.” Using a ride share service such as Lyft or Uber, Danny’s Ride works directly with organizations and provides free transportation for clientele living with substance use disorder, ensuring they can get to the recovery services they need.
