This retreat and training is an inspiring mix of social connectedness, team building, service opportunities, health and wellness, and connecting with nature!! You may choose to come for the training during the day or stay the weekend at Kirkridge Retreat for the total immersive experience.
CPR Certification is pre-requisite for WFA certification. Stanley L will offer this certification on Friday evening.
Wilderness First Aid will take place Saturday and Sunday from 9-4 and is facilitated by Northeast Mountain Guiding. This training is a 16 hour-2 day course designed for backcountry or outdoor enthusiasts, outdoor guides, interpretive guides, forest rangers, EMS professionals looking for wilderness medicine training and of course our Sync Recovery Adventure Volunteers!!
The cost of this retreat includes meals, training, and lodging, and we’ll enjoy a community bonfire meeting in the evening on Saturday.
