Taking part in the Volunteer Orientation means you are well on your way to becoming a Sync Volunteer! You have completed the Information Session, submitted your Application and Background Check, and have attended 5 events. Thank you for your commitment and your time!
Next steps include:
- Attend Sync Volunteer Orientation: Dive deeper into Sync’s Four Core Components, policies, and procedures; including our code of conduct, confidentiality policy, and discussion about Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
- Create an elevator pitch about why Sync is important to your recovery that you can share with your peers.
- Meet with Sync Representative for a One-on-one Volunteer Placement Session
- Begin service in activities and committees you are interested in!!
- Attend CPR & First Aid Training and review of overdose prevention supplies.
- If you are interested in leading activities and events complete Sync Facilitator Training and identify as a person in recovery for 18 months.
