What is a Moai?

Moai is a concept from Okinawa, Japan, that roughly means “coming together
for a common purpose”. Moais—or small groups of friends—have helped create
strong, healthy, and committed social networks for thousands of years.
In addition to expanding your social network, a Walking Moai allows you to
explore and discover your community on foot. Walking will quickly become
more of a way of life.
