Eco-Spirituality Walk – A Season of Quiet

The Advent season’s inward focus is a time for spiritual preparation. We will be reflecting on the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love.

Hope: The season begins by looking forward with hope.
Peace: The second week focuses on peace, both as a state of being and as reconciliation with others.
Joy: This theme celebrates the deep, abiding joy that comes from a spiritual presence, regardless of external circumstances.
Love: The final theme of Advent is love, reflecting on the ultimate expression of and how to love in return.

We will be sharing ways to cultivate these themes:
Engaging in spiritual practices: Spend time in prayer, quiet reflection, or meditation.
Being present: Take walks, sit in quiet places, or listen to music that helps you focus on the season’s meaning.
Embracing a purpose: Remind yourself that Advent is about preparing your heart for Christmas, and let that purpose guide your actions.
Living these virtues: Actively try to live out the virtues of hope, peace, joy, and love in your daily life, both personally and in your interactions with others.
