Creativity Night: A Home for the Birds
Join Sync Recovery at St. John’s UCC for this month’s hands-on Creativity Night: A Home for the Birds!
Decorate a Birdhouse, Celebrate Your Recovery 🐦🎨
Sometimes the foundation is already there—we just get to make it our own. In this creative activity, birdhouses are already built and ready to be decorated, giving you the opportunity to add color, personality, and meaning to something that will soon become a welcoming home for birds.
Decorating a birdhouse is a gentle reminder of the recovery journey. While the structure is already in place, the way we design and care for it reflects our creativity, our choices, and our unique voice. As you paint, design, and personalize your birdhouse, you’re invited to slow down, express yourself, and enjoy the simple joy of creating.
This activity encourages mindfulness, connection, and a sense of accomplishment. When your birdhouse is finished and placed outside, it becomes a symbol of hope and renewal—a safe space you helped bring to life. Just like in recovery, small acts of care and creativity can build something beautiful that supports life, growth, and new beginnings. 🕊✨
