Hoot Hike with Wildlands Conservancy
Join us on April 9th for a amazing education and hike about our beloved friend the owl. Please plan to arrive at 5:30 as you will be asked to sign wavers from the WIldlands in order to participate in this program. We will meet at the Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary pavilion, 3701 Orchid Place, Emmaus, PA 18049. The event will begin promptly at 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm. This event is limited to 30 people so you must register to participate.
Owls Meet & Greet: A personal experience with the Wildlands Conservancy’s educational ambassador of owls, their environmental educator will introduce native Pennsylvania owls, big and small. We’ll go for a short hike after the program to call in local owls. Bring a headlamp with a red light or a flashlight covered with red cellophane. We can provide one if you don’t have one.
Please come prepared: dress warmly in layers, wear sturdy, closed toed shoes. The program is outdoors, we will wear masks and socially distance. Restrooms available. Dogs not permitted. .
