CPR and AED training with the American Red Cross equips individuals with life-saving skills. Participants learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques, including chest compressions and rescue breaths, crucial for assisting someone experiencing cardiac arrest. Additionally, the training covers the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), devices that can restore a normal heart rhythm. The American Red Cross emphasizes hands-on practice, ensuring participants gain confidence and proficiency in responding to emergencies. CPR/AED Training certification will be facilitated by Per Hagen, certified Red Cross trainer.Participants will need to register by February 2nd to receive the online portion of the training. The online portion must be completed prior to the in person training.
