Sync Recovery Foundation Board Member

Kat Stuerzl is the C.E.O. (Chief Energizing Officer) of Leave Your Box with Kat Coaching & Consulting, Career Coach and Instructor of Business at Penn State University, & Life Enthusiast!

Born and raised in Germany, her background in cultural studies and linguistics led her to a career in people operations in manufacturing in the US. By leading wholeheartedly and fostering cultural transformation one individual at a time, she reduced employee turnover from 22% to 4% within her first year of being in her role.

Always evolving, she began building her coaching practice, co-authored “Step into Your Brave”, and began her public speaking journey. Kat is fiercely passionate about empowering fellow trailblazers and out-of-the-box thinkers to leave the box of conformity and doubt. Instead, she helps people redefine what success means to them, encourages growth beyond any title, and advocates for authentic leadership.

She feels deeply aligned with Sync’s 4 core components and is thrilled to serve on the board, with her focus being volunteer development.

In her free time, you find her outdoors with her husband Jeff and their Goldendoodle Charlie, or she is dancing and singing at music concerts with her friends. When you see her around, don’t be shy to say ‘hi’, she loves to meet you.
