Musikfest Performer in Recovery – JL Duo
Jackie Miller and Les Reisz have spent a decade perfecting a musical chemistry that is as enduring as it is captivating.
Les is a seasoned veteran of the stage with more than 40 years of experience. As a master of fingerstyle guitar and a private guitar teacher, his technical skill is matched by his history as a contributing artist to a Grammy-winning project. His sharp sense of humor keeps crowds entertained and laughing between every note.
Jackie is a powerhouse vocalist whose soulful, passionate delivery allows her to navigate a wide range of eras and genres with ease. While she has been singing her entire life, she finds her deepest inspiration in the emotional connection of music-especially when performing for seniors and touching the hearts of those who listen.
Together, they perform an eclectic variety of styles, including Jazz, Soul, Pop, Soft Rock, and Musical Theater. Whether they are setting a sophisticated, relaxed ambiance or leading a high-energy set that gets the crowd moving.
Jackie actively volunteers for Sync Recovery Community, facilitating events and supporting SoberPlatz. JL Duo also performed during Sync Recovery Community’s Path to SoberPlatz concert event on June 5th..
