MCWA Fall Cleanup at Sand Island
Volunteers needed! Join Sync Recovery Community and the Monocacy Creek Watershed Association for the MCWA Fall Cleanup at Sand Island in Bethlehem, bringing our recovery community together to care for the place we call home. Giving back to our community and taking care of our environment are powerful parts of a healthy recovery lifestyle. Service provides a sense of purpose, while spending time outdoors, working alongside others, and contributing to something bigger than ourselves helps build connection, wellness, and recovery capital.
For more than 50 years, MCWA has worked to protect clean water and a healthy environment throughout the Lehigh Valley. By joining forces with MCWA, Sync Recovery is helping participants discover that recovery isn’t just about what we leave behind—it’s about what we build, nurture, and give back to.
Come get your hands dirty, meet new people, enjoy the outdoors, and make a difference—because a healthier watershed and a healthier recovery community grow together.
