SoberPlatz returns for its second year at Musikfest, in partnership with ArtsQuest. This inclusive, alcohol-free space is free and located on the Southside of Musikfest at the SteelStacks campus, next to AmericaPlatz and the FlyWheel.
Pull up a chair at the tables to relax, enjoy food and mocktails purchased at Musikfest, and explore a variety of interactive, creative, and playful activities. Visit daily sponsor tables, and you never know which Musikfest artists might drop by.
Path to SoberPlatz: Recovery Meets SteelStacks Live

Join us for a high-energy kickoff as we build momentum toward Musikfest! While our alcohol-free SoberPlatz hangout runs July 30 – August 9, we are bringing the spirit of connection to SteelStacks early. On Friday, June 5, Sync Recovery Community and ArtsQuest present two live public concerts celebrating the power of live music and lived experience.
The night features “raw and explosive” alt-rock from KOSER at the Levitt Pavilion, followed by a soulful set from JL DUO on the Community Stage. Between the music, we’ll be revealing the full lineup of engaging activities planned for SoberPlatz. Come see where recovery meets community in the heart of Bethlehem’s music scene!

Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks – Bring your lawn chair and arrive early to grab your spot.
Philadelphia-based KOSER delivers alternative rock that hits hard—gritty guitars, soulful vocals, and unexpected humor woven into an electrifying live show. Described by WMMR as “raw, explosive, and emotionally unfiltered,” the band is known for creating a deep, immediate connection with audiences.
Fronted by Kara “Koser” (The Voice, Songbird), the band has performed at Musikfest and will return in 2026. Kara is openly in recovery for over seven years, bringing authenticity and lived experience to every performance.

Highmark Blue Shield Community Stage at Air Products Town Square – Stay for a more intimate but equally powerful set.
Featuring the soulful vocals of Jackie Miller and veteran guitarist Les Reisz, this duo brings a restorative, eclectic energy to the stage. A dedicated Sync Recovery volunteer in long-term recovery, Jackie blends heartfelt originals and jazz standards with bossa nova and modern pop. From the Beatles and Aretha Franklin to Billie Eilish and Coldplay, their harmonized set is both soulful and entertaining. Catch them at SteelStacks before Jackie’s Musikfest 2026 debut!
