Overdose Awareness Butterfly Release
Join Sync for our annual Overdose Awareness Butterfly Release—a reflective community event held to honor and remember those lost to overdose, while offering support to those affected by opioid and substance use.
Attendees will gather in a peaceful setting share stories, memories and moments of silence will be observed. The butterfly release serves as a symbolic gesture of remembrance, hope, and transformation, representing the lives lost and the ongoing journey of healing for loved ones.
The event includes resources for addiction treatment, harm reduction, and mental health services made available to attendees.
This gathering fosters a sense of community, reduces stigma surrounding substance use, and encourages open dialogue. It is both a memorial and a call to action—honoring those who have passed while reaffirming a commitment to save lives and support recovery.
