Connected Path George W. Childs Recreation Site Trail

Join Sync Recovery and NorthBound for a Connected Paths hike at the beautiful George W. Childs Recreation Site! This gentle, scenic loop is the perfect opportunity to connect with nature, connect with others, and enjoy the restorative benefits of being outdoors.

Take a stroll through a waterfall paradise as we visit three stunning waterfalls—Factory Falls, Fulmer Falls, and Deer Leap Falls. The trail begins along a wide boardwalk leading to the first falls and the stone ruins of an old woolen mill dating back to the 1820s.

As we wander deeper into the shady ravine, we’ll be surrounded by towering Eastern hemlocks and white pines while listening to the peaceful sounds of Dingmans Creek. Recent restoration has added beautiful new bridges and stairs, making this a welcoming and enjoyable trail for hikers.
