Hike the Lehigh Gap
Hike through the Lehigh Gap on the Restoration Loop and learn about the history of the corridor and ongoing ecological restoration efforts. The distance is a 2.2 mile loop with a difficulty level of easy/moderate. Points of interest along the D&L Trail and the LNE trail include grassland restoration, nesting orioles, warblers, tree swallows, and bluebirds in nesting boxes, as well as amphibians in the springs and an occasional sighting of a bald eagle.
Feel your heart open, and your senses come alive as we hike along the river, taking in beautiful views while stopping at signage
along the trail that educates us about local history along the LNE (a former railroad path for the Lehigh and New England line).
Recovery happens in connection—come walk, talk, and grow with us.
All fitness levels are welcome
