Musikfest hosted by ArtsQuest in Bethlehem, PA is a one-of-a-kind fusion of world-class music, vibrant community spirit, rich cultural heritage, and downtown energy—all wrapped up in free access and family-friendly appeal.

New for this year, Musikfest welcomes Sober Platz, a supportive and welcoming environment hosted by Sync Recovery. This alcohol-free zone is open to anyone seeking a break from the crowds, looking to connect with others in recovery, or simply wanting to enjoy the festival in a substance-free setting. The space will feature meetups, wellness activities, and opportunities to learn more about recovery resources and community support. Whether you’re in recovery, sober-curious, or an ally, all are welcome to stop by and be part of the experience.

We need volunteers at Sober Platz to help us create a welcoming, supportive, and fun space for anyone seeking a substance-free experience at Musikfest. Volunteers help greet guests, share resources, and build community—making Sober Platz a safe and positive part of the festival for all. 

Once you sign up on the link below, we will be in touch with dates for question and answer sessions,  directions, and other pertinent information as it becomes available.

Here are the key responsibilities of a volunteer at SoberPlatz, hosted by Sync Recovery Community during Musikfest:

• Welcome and Engage Guests: Greet attendees warmly, answer questions, and help create a friendly, inclusive environment.

• Share Information: Provide details about Sync Recovery Community, the SoberPlatz space, and upcoming recovery-friendly events.

• Support Activities: Assist with games, crafts, or other sober-friendly activities in the space.

• Maintain a Safe Space: Help ensure the environment remains respectful, clean, and substance-free.

• Represent Sync Recovery and your recovery organization: Be a positive ambassador for people in recovery, family members, and friends.

• Set Up/Clean Up: Help with basic setup, breakdown, and tidying of the area during your shift.
