Rising Strong Book Club

“When we deny our stories, they define us. When we own our stories, we get to write the ending”.

This quote is one of the many themes in Brene Brown’s novel, Rising Strong: How the ability to reset transforms the way we live, love, parent, and lead (2015). This book looks at how failure and rising from it transforms our lives and builds us into the person we have always dreamed of becoming. Through her research and her own recovery program, Brene Brown guides us through the magic of being vulnerable, the courage to conquer our fears, and how to live in our truth.

Come join us each Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm as we will read and discuss in an informal setting the novel, Rising Strong. We are all trudging along the road of happy destiny so let’s cultivate some new tools while building a supportive community in the process. This event is open to all people; come with an open mind and leave with an open heart.

Those that dare and embrace vulnerability are the truly brave. They are the ones who will rise strong.
