Breathe, Move, Recover with Meaghan
Meaghan Emmons is offering an all-level yoga practice combining postures, breath work, and meditation. We then join for a recovery meeting, which enables us the chance to come together and share our experiences, struggles, triumphs, and joys.
Taught through a trauma-informed lens, Meg will lead us through sequences that will bolster our resilience – skills and tools that we can apply to our everyday lives: practicing the pause; stress management, emotion regulation; how to handle difficult feelings, cravings, and how to transform stuck or stale energy. These sessions teach us to connect with our breath and to stretch and strengthen our bodies. By moving with intention, we activate the processes, which allow the nervous system to reset and invite a sense of calm and ease.
Suitable for beginners and seasoned practitioners, “Breathe, Move, Recover” creates a space where we can learn to relax the body; settle the mind, and soften the heart.
Join us one time or for the whole series. September 22nd and the 29th, October 13th and the 27th, and November 3rd and 10th.
