Birding 101 With the Wildlands Conservancy

Birding 101: Join us at Wildlands Emmaus preserve for a primer on birding best practices. A perfect place to hone your birding skills, we’ll hike through a variety of habitats to discover migrating bird species. We’ll provide binoculars and a knowledgeable educator to guide you.  Please bring binoculars if you have them and bird Identification books, Phone App Merlin or Ebird if you can.  There will be a recovery meeting at this event.

Leave No Trace: Always practice Leave No Trace ethics on your adventures and follow local regulations. Please explore responsibly!

Wear conformable clothing and appropriate footwear for hiking.  Bring water and snacks to fuel your body.

Please call or text our Director of Peer Support, Per Hagen, at 215.380.3341 if you need more information.
