Located outdoors at SteelStacks on the SouthSide of Musikfest, SoberPlatz offers festivalgoers a welcoming place to connect, relax, and enjoy engaging activities in a recovery-friendly environment.\nVolunteers help create a positive and welcoming experience for visitors while supporting a unique recovery-friendly space during Musikfest.\n\nVolunteer Responsibilities\n\nGreet visitors, help them explore SoberPlatz activities and offerings, and share complimentary giveaway items from Sync Recovery Community and SoberPlatz.\nServe as an ambassador for Sync Recovery Community and share information about events and volunteer opportunities.\nHelp maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment.\nAssist with setup, breakdown, opening, and closing procedures.\nSecure and restore materials during weather-related events.\nReport questions, concerns, or issues to on-site staff.\n\nVolunteer Requirements\n\nAttend a 45-minute Zoom orientation.\nProvide your own transportation to SteelStacks.\nBe comfortable volunteering outdoors during a busy music festival where alcohol is served.\nBe able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.\nBe friendly, dependable, and enjoy interacting with a diverse group of festival attendees.\nSupport SoberPlatz’s mission while enjoying Musikfest’s energy and live music drifting in from nearby stages.\n\n\nIf you would like to volunteer for this exciting opportunity, you may do so on the link HERE.
