DESCRIPTION:Thank you for your interest. Registration for this event is closed.\nCPR and AED training with the American Red Cross equips individuals with life-saving skills. Participants learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques, including chest compressions and rescue breaths, crucial for assisting someone experiencing cardiac arrest. Additionally, the training covers the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), devices that can restore a normal heart rhythm. The American Red Cross emphasizes hands-on practice, ensuring participants gain confidence and proficiency in responding to emergencies. This training is vital for fostering a community of individuals ready to act swiftly in critical situations.\nCPR/AED Training certification will be facilitated by your friend and ours, Stanley Lewandowski, certified Red Cross trainer. Participants will need to register by Valentine Day 2.14.2024 to receive the online portion of the training. In person portion will be 02.29.2024 7pm at the Palmer Center. Online portion must be completed prior to 02.29 in person training.\nSpace is limited. Please don’t wait to sign up.
