DESCRIPTION:Join Luke, Heather, and other Sync friends on this hiking adventure along a portion of the historic, switchback trail, the design behind roller coasters worldwide started with this trail. Our low-impact, gravel-based trail hike leads us along the Mauch Chunk Creek, through a forest of hibernating rhododendrons to the picturesque Mauch Chunk Lake Dam with a recovery discussion. All are invited and welcomed, children must be accompanied by an adult. The hike leaves promptly at 12 pm.\nPlease wear sturdy, close-toed shoes and layer up (fluorescent is good), bring water & snacks to fuel your body.\nAll walks of recovery are welcome.\nAlways practice Leave No Trace ( https://lnt.org/learn/7-principles ) ethics on your adventures and follow local regulations.
